Amazon Expands Fulfillment Operations to Missouri Inc. today announced plans for the construction of a fulfillment center in Missouri. The approximately 800,000 square foot facility will be located in the city of St. Peters Missouri. This city with a population of 57,289 based on the 2016 US Census, is located northwest of St. Louis in St. Charles County.

This newest Amazon fulfillment center will be the first built in the state. According to the Amazon press release, the new facility will create 1,500 full-time jobs with benefits. Health insurance, disability insurance, retirement products, and stock awards are part of Amazon employee benefits package.
